Default lope tune?

I have a question, I saw a guy a the light today with a 2011 GT. I thought he had a bad *** cam but he said it was only a tune. So of course I went straight to the cpu to read up on it and I found out this is true. But I only see them for 2011"s & up. Can I get this on my 2005 GT? And if so do you guys recommend them?

I love the sound but I'd never want to constantly tell people that I don't really have a cam, would get annoying : (

You can't get it on a 3V unfortunately.. It's called a ghost cam tune.. It's possible because of the DOHC and the ability to control the intake and the exhaust cam separately, allowing for certain parameters to be tuned (kind of like having a certain LSA on a SOHC to create that lopey idle). I think just about every tuning company pulled it though, and if I remember correctly, a Lund tune was the who did it the best. Bama couldn't even get a good idle without some problems.

I've heard the "Ghost Cam Tune" in person and it sounds freakin awesome! I can understand what Entaille said above about having to tell people that it's not a real cam....but after hearing it, I wouldn't care.
