Default blinking service engine soon light?

manual says Engine misfire? I plan on taking it in soon, maybe tomorrow... Can i drive my car home or should i leave it where its currently parked (won't get towed)? I trying not to risk damaging it.

What kind of costs should I expect to fix this? Could it just be like a bad spark plug?

What year? If the OM doesn't give you any precautions about driving it with that indication, then I'd suspect it would be fine to drive, just don't go out of the way or take a long trip until you understand the issue.
