Default CDC Decklid Panel emblem installation?

I got my CDC decklid panel off ebay brand new. Fitment was great. Only problem is I ordered an emblem separate from moss motors. I believe this one goes on the left panel of the car; although I'd like to stick it to the right side of the panel. I'm not sure how to mount it; whether to break the prongs off and then stick it or what. I'm sure the tape will stick to the panel, but not for very long. Suggestions?
Thanks

I would cut/grind the prongs down flush. Get a roll of 3M body tape and stick it on. Just measure/cut the tape to fit the emblem and so that it doesn't interfere with the raised grooves in the panel. If you can get 2 strips of additional tape on the emblem that will fit in the lower grooves it should stay on. You could possibly drill 2 holes in the panel and stick it in/on with the supplied tape. But the holes would have to be perfect and if you decided you didn't like the emblem, you would have 2 holes in the panel!

^

If you don't care, you could even try sealing around the edges with silicon gasket like we use on our differential cover.

Keep out dirt and water that WILL pry that tape loose.

Or say **** it and use epoxy...

Make an outline of the emblem on the panel, and grind down the ribs so that the emblem sits flush. At that point, use 3M tape to fasten the emblem to the panel.

and since you have already defaced the panel, go ahead and drill the alignment holes, cut the studs flush with the rear of the panel and BOOM...after all the words custom and easy rarely collide in the same sentence. I think without it flush, it will look simply "stuck on" which we all know = cheezy.
