Default Rear sway bar bracket help

Anyone know where to get this part? I need the brackets to mount my sway bar? Are they the same as the front?

Is it a stock sway bar or aftermarket? No matter what kind of bar, the rear mount is not the same as the front. Take a look at the sway bar kits available at American Muscle or another supplier. Then check what's included with a rear bar and a front bar to see the difference between them.

It is a rear bar off a stock GT. Putting it on my V6. I got the sway bar and the GT H pipe for $150. good deal i think.

I ordered mine through Ford. They're different than the front ones.

You could always go to a junk yard. Otherwise, Ford's your best bet. But look for a dealer who does internet sales as you can probably get a better price on the part than if you just walk into your local Ford dealership and order it. In my area, I use Tasca Ford in Rhode Island but you should be able to find someone in the Southwest or California to do business.

If you go the junk yard direction, look online for a picture of the part so you know what it looks like before you head out.

There's a list of bolts/nuts/hardware here: http://www.mustangcollective.com/showthread.php?t=39110

I recently picked up a rear sway (for free) and need to order the 2 U-brackets as well.

When I installed the rear sway in my '05 a few years ago, I obtained grade-8 hardware vs the oem bolts/clips.
