Default UPR Catch Can

Well, I am back in the UPR fold. Received and installed my new catch can today. My '06 is happy again.

Nice. UPR was the only one that actually worked. The JLT I had did nothing.

Not to thread jack, but do these serve any purpose on stock cars?

Yes, they do serve a purpose on stock cars. They keep oil from the PCV system out of the intake manifold. This keeps carbon build up out of the combustion chambers, plugs etc. All but stopped my "smokey start ups". It is also claimed they raise the octane of the fuel a bit-can't vouch for that. I empty mine every 2500 miles and there's a surprising amount in the can.

No SC here and I catch about a shot of oil every few months.

I get maybe 1/4 cup every 2500 miles, maybe a tad less.
