Hey there once again,

In the future I want to do dual exhuast, for my V6. Well I found a full true dual system by JBA. Heres some info:

2005 Mustang V6 JBA True Duals

JBA is proud to offer a new true dual exhaust conversion for the 2005 Mustang 4.0L V6. Give your V6 Mustang the power and look of a GT! This new kit
features JBA's fully welded chamber style mufflers, high flow mandrel-bent tubing, hangers and hardware, and great looking 3" chrome plated 304 stainless steel tips.
Get power, sound and quality with a JBA performance exhaust!

Ok first off, If I buy that full system, for my completly stock 05,(Other than the pony package grille) will I be able to install it right away? Or Do i need some other workings for it too work such as like an X or H Pipe? Also hows the sound of it? Anyone know if its a deep mean tone? If its not as deep as I would like, is it possible in the future if I ever wanted to put flowmaster mufflers on it, would I be able to and would I get a lil bit deeper sound? Also what can I expect to gain from this purchase?

So far from V6mustangstuff.com its 579.00 for the whole kit, anyone know where its cheaper by chance?

Lookin for that nice melodic deep tone,
-Ryan

Ok, mind you I have a GT and never seen under a stock V6 so I am not 100% sure of the setup. But to answer your questions, I doubt you need anything other than that kit. The kit there shows that it comes with the hanging hardware for one muffler (the hardware for the other one is already there). Also, I don't think you need an x or h pipe. From the looks of it the two sections of tubing that have three openings look like they go together with that big clamp in the middle thus forming an h pipe. I am not sure if the V6 comes stock with some sort of Y pipe that takes the two exhaust manifolds and puts the exhaust into one pipe but that is probably the case.
As far as switching out with the flowmaster that shouldn't be a problem. Basically the axle backs are only the mufflers anyway and you retain the stock over axle pipes. For HP and torque gains don't expect much. Most of the gains come out of switching the cats, not the cat-back system. Maybe 3-7hp is what you would see, and obviously a little more than that with a tune. Hope that helps.
