Default Lowering Springs. What's Needed?

I'm looking to lower my GT. I want to go down an inch. American Muscle has a set of Ford Racing P Springs. I've got all the tools needed and what not but is the bump stops and camber bolts needed for the install? I figured if I went lower the camber bolts would be needed but will they make that big of a difference without them only going down an inch?

NO. I've gone 1 1/2" and can still get a good alignment in my Bullitt. You should get new strut mounts though, mine are HD Steedas.

If you're only lowering an inch you most likely don't need any extra parts. If you want to kill two birds with one stone, you can replace your strut mounts with adjustable camber plates and then you won't have to buy camber bolts either. I don't think it's necessary with a one inch drop though.

Everything I have read says no camber bolts or relo brackets needed with p springs. My buddy put them on his boss and it looks good. So good I am thinking about them too. Lets see those pics when you get them installed.

I went with the p's and here is what I used...
P springs
GT500 strut mounts
j&m adj panhard bar
koni str.t's
handles like a champ even with oversized rear staggered tires.

Just to confirm. You'll be fine with just the Ford Racing P Springs, like these guys mentioned. There's really not need for anything else, however I always suggest upgrading to the GT500 strut mounts since the factory units seem to fall apart easily.

Hope this helps!

I really want to lower my car but I don't know how to do it and don't really want to mess with anything. It seems like more parts are needed then just the springs if I found them at good deal. I would still lose out having them installed at a shop.
