Well, they are on thier way. I am thinking 255/45 on the front, and 275/40 on the back. Sound Kosher? I should also have some pics up by the end of the week with my painted calipers, Roush louvers, and mirrors. Not the rims yet though, they won't go on until spring.

i love your idea , go with 255/45 up front u can go 285/40 in the back, i was on the phone with tire rack and they say that set up will work and have sold them like that. i want to do the same as you except in Black since my car is Red. Go for it, cant wait to see your pics.

id do 255/45 all the way around. you really dont want much more tire then that on a 18x9 because it will "poof" the sidewalls out

255 is the minimum tire size to put on a 9" rim - with 255's, there will be no rubber to protect your rims from curbs while parallel parking (voice of experience). 275 would be a better fit.

lol i have 255/45 on a 18x18.5 and they are blocky(which is good for a "muscle" car) so275's would be a decent look for a 18x9 lol. yah i guess 275s would work for those that tag curbs

Yeah, on an 8" or 8.5" rim, 255 is perfect.

I don't parallel park at all, ever. 275's all the way around? Would that not be a little extreme?
