Default Getting PDR done...

Well, Wednesday is the big day. I'm taking the old girl in to have almost eight years of door dings and such and one nasty little road debris dent taken out of the driver's door. Is there anything I should look out for or any little 'gotcha' things I need to know when he does this? They're charging me $300, so I want to make sure I get the job done right. My plan had been to go out and circle everything in soap that I wanted taken care of first...

Not really. I paid $125 for a nasty one on a lift gate when I had a daily driver lease return. Saved me almost double what the lease inspector said. He did it in my garage on a cold January day too. Pretty interesting to watch.

Nothing really to it - we have all of our pre-owned cars done before we put them out for sale.

I WOULD go out there and mark everything that you want done though. That is a great idea so neither he or you miss anything.

as the others have said, nothing much to it for a PDR person....lights, mirrors, and they go to work

Had the squirts wash the car and then I went around and circled what I could find in soap. Lots of dings...

Christ. $300 for that many pops is a steal.

How do you all get so many dings in your cars? I guess it helps that I only drive my car to work and park where no one can park next to me at the end of the lot.

I have no dings/dents, but a few rock chips in the front. I had a 99 ford ranger for 7 years before and it had no dings or dents either.

I inherited them from the previous owner... Most of these are miniscule and probably would be never noticed. Unfortunately, they're all I see when I look at the car.

Holy hell I'm glad mine is a weekend toy. You're getting a hell of a deal for that many dings.i would also love to know how long it takes your guy to do this. I had one and it was an hour and a half
