Good deal on a 5.0?
Hey guys I've been car shopping the last couple weeks and got a dealership to come down to 31k drive out on a new 2013 basic premium GT (just leather, manual, ambient lighting, and LCD screen in the gauge cluster). My question is do y'all think its a good deal? What similar deals have you gotten? And do you think I should spend 3k more for the track pack? (Since it will help the resale value)

You didn't mention what the sticker price is but take that and subtract $5000-$6000. That's what you should be paying for a '13. I'd seen some advertised $6000 off sticker around AR,OK,TX area. The big rebates for the 2013 may have expired though, but if there are still a lot of '13s sitting around dealer lots the rebates will probably be back before summer.
As far as resale down the road, I'd keep the extra cost options to a minimum other than the premium package. Few add on options actually add anything to the used resale value down the road. About the only adds to a used car value other than low miles are leather & power seats, sunroof and nav system according to NADA and blackbook.

Yeah 31k is with taxes and everything. Since a couple of y'all are saying you got your base for 27k drive out I figure 30k is a reasonable price for a premium. Hopefully If I wait till the end of the month the dealerships will get a lil more desperate!

I paid 34k last November out the door with taxes. So 31k seems about right given the 14s are out. Mine was also a GT Premium mine was a tad higher since I got it in Gotta Have It Green and they charge a bit more for the 3 stage paint jobs.

Well 31k is all they are offering on 13 gt premiums here and that's before adding sales tax. That's with x-plan and 2500 in dealer rebates. I'd need another $2500 off to meet your out the door price.

Ok guys just got another offer for a used 2013 gt track pack premium with back up sensor and 9k miles. They were asking 29.9k and got them to 29k with tax and everything. What y'all think should pull the trigger?
