Will 4.10's cause the 4.0's driveshaft to fail ealier?

Upgraded my 7.5 to 3.73's and a trac-lok Spring of 2012. So far I have had two trips to the drag strip and 4 hours on track time at Gingerman Raceway without any problems. After upgrading the the gears I upgraded the lower control arms to combat wheel hop. Spring of 2013 I upgraded to an aluminum drive shaft. The drive shaft really smoothed out the vibration I was getting at freeway speeds.

Also the pinion flanges are different on both these cars so the DS won't swap anyway.

I modded a 4.0 once, 3.73 posi on the 7.5 was putting down good power would fry the tires - 17x235x55 street tires. Drag slicks broke your diff. 4.10's will run high rpm on the highway lower fuel milage but better around town. I'd do 8.8 with 3.73, works for the new 3.7's.

Edit: Okay, so I've had a few beers and wasn't really thinking straight. I'm revising my original post.
I'm starting to think an upgraded driveshaft may be worth it anyway. I'm not sure just how much gears would affect how fast it spins because I'm not that smart in car math, but I gather your drive shaft is as about clunky and heavy as a GT's and could use the upgrade anyway. I think you'd be alright if you did add gears, I'd still be more worried about the diff itself as others said, especially if you're hooking up well. Just try not to get on it too much until you're sure it can handle it.

So, I finally made up my mind to go with 4.10's (took long enough) and was about to place the order when a suggested product in the sidebar caught my eye and made me think.
This might be a total newb question, but better safe than sorry, right?
A higher gear ratio is going to make my drive shaft spin more per tire rotation correct? So, does that mean the drive shaft will fail at an earlier speed than the 130-140 range its already known to buckle at because it'll be spinning faster earlier?
I dont plan on removing the governor with the tune after install, but I occasionly like to take the car up to about 110 when im the only one on the freeway.
Does anyone have experience with 4.10's in their 4.0 at high speeds? Should I wait till I can get an alumimnum driveshat?

I can't talk for the 2006 , but I have a 2011 v6 and went to 4.1 a month ago. 100 is safe. I have been to 110 a few times, but I feel like the car is working rather hard to reach this. so I usually stop around 105.
