Default Red wheel trim

Maybe you guys have seen this before, but I think its a cool look:

I have been going for the Black & Red look on my 2007 GT. With that Theme in mind, I blacked out the wheels with plasti-Dip a few months ago. Today I picked up some red trim (the thick kind with 3m sticky stuff on the back) at Autozone. Then I just adhered the trim to the edge of the wheels, after cleaning them. Took me about 1hr total. Easy stuff.

I think it makes the wheels pop. Comments welcome!

It actually looks pretty good from the pictures. AM sells a wheel band kit in red if you decide you need something different.

Thanks! I might because the trim doesn't really match the paint, so you think they have something better?

I just noticed they had blue and red kits. Yours really changes the look of the car for what? $50?

Looks good. Reminds me of the redline tires from the 60's.....wish they'd bring those and the raised white letter styles back.

Me too.

There are so many things from car history, that I think to myself, "why did they get rid of that?"
