07 A/C control switch issues
Ive search for a solution for this problem but I havent found a post anywhere about it. When I start my car I will turn on the A/C and select what direction I want the air to blow (far right ****). Sometimes no air will come out of the vents, regardless what fan setting i put it on or what air direction I choose. I also do not hear the "ticking noise" that sometimes is caused by the door actuators. I leaning towards the dash control unit going bad, but replacing that is over $300 dollars at Tousley Ford and I dont want to spend that much money on a gamble. When the system does work, it performs flawlessly. Any ideas on what it could be? Thanks.

Could be the switch you are turning or it could be the blend door actuator itself. You can spot it behind the glove box if you drop it down and unhinge it. It's to the left of the opening

I'd bet on the actuator itself but that's only because I've seen more of those go out than anything else.
