Default Hand tuner question

If I wanted to remove my tuner in the interest of selling it, what would be the procedure?

So far I removed the C&L intake and installed the factory intake, and then used the tuner to "load factory settings".

Is there anything else to do?

I believe by returning your car to it's stock tune, you've essentially unlocked the handheld. Others, please correct me if I'm wrong.

You could always check with the manufacturer (I assume you have an SCT).

Nuke is right. Assuming it's an SCT, it's ready to move on to a new relationship so to speak.

I think the buyer will have to have it re-programmed for his car even if its the same year and same mods they have different computer codes etc.

Ok, thanks guys. I thought I had everything correct but just wanted to make sure before giving it to someone else.

Returning my girl to as stock as possible, and then turning her loose...

Looking at a new Ford commuter. Probably a Focus. Test driving some models this weekend.

Don't worry though, I'll be finding a newer play toy maybe next year some time.

Yeah, Nuke is right. Good luck on finding a Ford commuter. The new Fusion's don't look too bad.
