Dudes, these cars are built to be driven. They are not fragile eggs. I have had my car for almost 4 years. I have around 300 runs down the dragstrip most of which are with the blower. The only part to fail on me was the rear end clutches which I expected to eventually fail. I dont abuse my car on the street but I do enjoy the power and spin the tires more often than not. At the drags its full throttle every time. Ford has built my car "Ford Tough" for sure. Drive your cars guys......enjoy them!

While driving back from work tonight I got to 5500 in second. Feeeeeels geeeeewd lol. I'm figuring out why I don't do this often 1) it's soooo loud after 3k (2) I use cruise control around town. (3) I'm afraid of breaking something

I know all u guys says u do it all the time and I prolly won't break anything. It's just my nature to be conscious about this stuff. I listen to my car when I drive. Any little creak or sound I want to hear it. And I mostly listen to the motor and exhaust. And listening to it tonight at different rpms it's really gets angry sounding and I'm just a tad scared of all that sound lol. Just thinking about stress on it but I guess it's ok lol. I hope I'm getting my point across

Not ALL of us guys do it all the time. What most of us mean is to do it on occasion. My Stang isn't my DD and often sits for 2-3 weeks at a time. But when I have her out, I'll stretch her legs about every 3rd or 4th trip not just because I feel a need to burn off anything but also because, well, I just feel the need. It's just to damned much fun. Even if it's just getting up to a 45 MPH speed limit ASAP.

Don't listen so much waiting for something to break. Just enjoy it. It's a mustang not a $250k super car.
