Default Drive Cycle for Emissions testing, help!

I went in for emissions testing and was told that there are four systems "not ready" for testing. I'm running a Brenspeed 93 tune for my Vortech, passed two years ago easily. O2 sensors are "on". Battery was disconnected when the alternator was replaced 3 months ago.

The vehicle isn't throwing any codes, just not ready to be tested. I've completed three different drive cycles trying to get this thing ready to pass. No luck, the check engine light blinks 8 times (according to the manual, it's erady when it stops blinking).

Any suggestions? Dealer said to drive 55mph for 6 minutes, and then do some city driving. I've also driven on the highway for 15 minutes and 20 minutes of city driving with 8/hr breaks in between each cycle. No luck.

Frustrated!!

Have you plugged in a code reader that checks out emissions readiness? Most newer scanners will look at the emissions system and reflect what sensors are not Emissions Ready. That's the easiest way.

Yes, I'm such a regular at the inspecton station, they plug in the scanner ahead of time. Same four sensors, no codes are appearing. The drive cycle is a PITA!

I do inspections in NC, and i think its kinda weird, normally it throws an engine light by that time or at least go down to 2 or 3 incomplete. The only explanation i can come up with, is that it keeps resetting due to weak battery or something like that. It could be a lose connection in the battery so it keeps resetting everything. I would check that and see if something is cutting the power.

Good luck and let us know

Thanks, I'll double check the connections!
