Just wondered if any of you have experienced a spoiler purchase from thespoilerstore from ebay. I'd like to get a gt500 spoiler; just need an idea on how accurate the paint matches. thanks all.

I got mine a few years ago. It matched perfectly and fit great.

 

The paint matches well. Try to do the install as good as possible, take your time. It's a good alternative to spending a lot of money. It's a good spoiler, looks good.

 

I've purchased two GT500 spoilers from them within the past 6 years for my 07. Paint match was perferct, great price. Fading of paint and peeling of clearcoat started in the 2nd-3rd year though.

 

I returned 2 of them. I was not happy with the quality of the paint job itself (drips and dust in the paint) on the 2nd one. The first one arrived with a giant scratch on it. After that, I was done and just got my money back. I'm the only one that I know of who has had problems as everyone else that Im aware of has been satisfied.

I will agree though that they do a great job with the color matching. Had the first one not had a giant scratch I would have installed and kept it.

Their customer service was great and took my returns without any grief.

 

I'm starting to have a little bit of peeling of the clear coat after 3 years. I have some other trouble areas with my paint though so I'm just going to fix those, or maybe wrap the car.

 

Paint match on mine was about as close as you can get without actually having the car there. In sunlight and with your face right next to it you can see a slight difference, but not enough for me to worry about it. For the price I'm definitely happy with the purchase.

 

did they cut you a deal on the second one due to the paint fade and peel?

 

Paint match was perfect on mine. I've had it since like 08 and no paint fade. It is garage kept and waxed frequently though.

The one thing I do not like is that it has more orange peel than the factory paint.





This used to not bother me until I became **** about my finish.

For the price though??? absolutely unbeatable.
