Question Ambient Interior Lighting

As I have seen on http://www.americanmuscle.com/sr-ebr...09-chrome.html i noticed the lighting in the cup holder. i did some later research on how to get an aftermarket lighting kit, but would find one, with the foot well lighting also. The price is outstanding for a couple of lights! about $300! just for a 3 lighted strings in the car, i dont think is worth $300, if someone can point me in a direction of a cheaper kit, that would help me a lot more!

Make your own....buy the lights and wire them to the interior lights or buy a new car.

Oh don't worry, he is Already looking at a new Corvette or a '15 Mustang, or so his last thread stated. I'm Completely Convinced that this kid is a forum troll just like Zentin.

OP,

I would look for a thin LED strip online or even at a local auto parts store. Then try fitting it around your cup holders. I'm sure it wouldn't take much to make your own! Plus it's the cheapest option.

acctually, i was getting the overall point of what, if i had money, which one everyone thought would be a better buy. yes i would love to have a v8! that would be amazing! but no, i dont have the money to buy a '14 vette or a 15 stang, also no i'm not trolling, if i really didn't like the opinions i was getting then i would throw sh*t your guyses way, but im not. and if you could kindly just tell me who Zentin is?

It sounds cheesy but I did buy a strip of LED lights from ebay for $5 that came with double sided sticky tape on them. I hooked them up for a rocker switch ($5 from autozone) and tapped into a 'hot' wire off the fuse box under the dash; having the on/off switch worked perfect for turning them on/off and was done under $15.

Send a PM to defiance. I think he still has a kit for sale that is complete. It includes the cup holder and the console pieces for the back seat foot wells. As for ambient lighting in the front passenger foot wells, they are available on the 2010's and later for sure, but I'm not aware of any plug and play solution for 09's and earlier. I'm sure it exists, I've just never heard of it.
