Has anyone used the Xscorpion SP-AD6957 adapters or have any thoughts on them? They'll convert the speaker openings to be able to use 6x9s. I was thinking of putting them on the back deck. I have a base system and looking for a bit more bass but not interested in a sub.

 

I've never used them but I don't see a reason for them not to work, all it is is swapping a brace. I did a homemade one on my old truck one time and it held up fine for years.
