Default 2013/14 track package questions

Looking at trading in my 05cummins for a 14 mustang gt. I'm looking at the options
I want the gt premium, manual trans, and comfort package. I'm looking at the track package and trying to see if its worth it.

Does anyone have it? What are your thoughts?
I know it comes with 3.73s, what gears come with a new gt without the track package?

It comes with the brembos I know, is that it other than the apps in the dash?
I've seen a few pics of the digital gauges and they look awesome.

Thanks for any help

Only difference I am aware of is Brembos, 3.73 gears /w BOSS 302 rear axle with heat fins on the diff and recommended oil is 5w50.

GT Premium Manuals come with 3.55 gears unless you option for different gearing as well also come with Track Apps (LCD Screen)

Base GT's and GT Premiums come with 3:31 gearing as the standard option.
Upgrading the the "track pack" gives you some BOSS goodies, 3:73 gearing, Torsen Differential bigger brakes and the BOSS radiator. for a $2500 add-on, it's not bad...you'd prob spend about $500 less upgrading the same parts aftermarket. At least this way you get warranty coverage and a car thats ready to shred rubber! The Torsen Diff is prob the best part of the package

It's not a bad deal really, but keep in mind it is possible to add the track pack on a base GT and not get the Track Apps, which is a standard feature on the Premiums.

Also, you can't get the track pack with the convertibles

All correct, except that GT Manuals come with 3.31 gears, not 3.55's. Buy the Track Pack. It is worth it to have the lower gears. Throw in the Brembos and you got yourself a heck of a deal.

The Track Pack starts out as a Brembo GT with it's specific suspension and brake upgrades. Then adds Boss radiator w/oil cooler Torsen differential w/3.73 gears a finned aluminum differential cover and low expansion brake lines.
All manual GT's come standard with 3.31 gears, 3.55 and 3.73's are optional.
For info on what is included in the Brembo Brake Package go here.

Maybe it's different in the US but I know everyone I know here in Canada with a 13+ GT (note we dont have base model GT our GT = GT Premium) but they all come with 3.55

It depends on what the dealer has in their inventory. The Base GT does come with the 3.31 rear diff and 18's. The Premium and CS packages can come with the 3.31 or the 3.55's and 18 or 19's. Suspensions are slightly different also. You won't know unless you ask or actually look at the window sticker.

Thanks for the info guys.
Seems pretty worth it to me just for the gears and brakes alone. Not to mention the fun I'm sure I'll have with the track apps!
