replacing gauge stepper motor?

+1 if you aren't comfortable doing it have someone do it. I tore up mine trying to do it and ended up buying another cluster.

I've had to solder a few things on a few different car including the wires for a fuel sending unit and I've dealt with dash problems in my lightning so i should be able to handle this. I just wasn't sure about which stepper motor to get. i looked it up and the 27.589 is the next generation of the 25.589 so it should work but i haven't seen anyone posting about using the 27.589 so i was curious if anyone has used it or not. I just ordered the 27 so i guess ill find out if it works when it gets here sometime next week.
