Like some of you this weekend, I went to go see Need For Speed this weekend and made an interesting observation.



It appears, in most scenes at least that the crew modified the original seats to give them that Shelby/Boss racing style look. Basically they removed the stock headrest and replaced it with a racing inspired headrest. I am not sure if I like the overall look or not but I was curious to get your opinions. Who knows, if there's enough demand we might be able to get RedlineGoods or someone to make them for us.

 

Looks cool…would rather have Recaro seats…but they are EXPENSIVE!

 

Like in that pic? Those are just Recaros.

 

Recaros dont break at the top like those ones as far as I know

Those look like custom Recaro seats. They probably have the detachable headrest for filming purposes, just like Top Gear will take off the headrest to have more camera mobility.

 

Looks pretty cool to me.

Off topic, how was the movie?

 

Bad acting. A poor man's Fast/Furious. However, the Mustang was nice and the cars overall were fun to watch.

 

Thats an interesting observation, I'd be interested. My brothers got the recaros.. so jealous. I may just steal them overnight.
