Wheels: 17" vs 18"
Hey guys,
I am narrowing down my search for new tires but wanted to know if there is any advantage or disadvantage to increasing the size of the wheels on my 06 V6.
From what I remember, I liked the 18" wheels on the mustang. But its been a while since I have been to a show so if anyone has some before-and-after shots of the mustang when they upgraded that would be awesome.
Thank you for your help.

Well.....
I downsized to 17s because I wanted a more retro look. Tires are a little less expensive. These are '01 Bullitt wheels on my '08. The offset brings the tires close to fender edge.

If these cars didn't have the retro look already, 17s work but look a bit too small IMO, especially when lowered. 18s look good. These cars have big wheel wells and even 20s look alright when done right.

Car looks fine lowered on stock 17's. My wifes chrysler 300 has big wheel wells, the mustang does not.
