Default Tail lights not in sequence...help!

I recently decided to retrofit my 2011 with the 2013 tail lights and when I tested them out the passenger side works just fine in sequence but the drivers side one is blinking as a whole unit. I also noticed that it is blinking faster than the right side from the inside. My original tail lights both worked perfect so I know it must be something with that left tail light. Is there a fix or should I pack it up and return it? Any help is greatly appreciated

Clean the contacts on the harness connector-to-bulk head connector.

Make sure the front left turn signal bulb isn't burned out.

+1 usually when one side blinks faster than the other, the side that is blinking faster has a turn signal bulb burnt out or that is faulty. This is how the car tells you there is a problem. If there's nothing external that you can find, then it's the sequential assembly that's to blame. You should get a new one from manufacturer and return the defective one.

they're all LEDs, guys, should be 100% plug and play. like everyone said, check connectors, pins and front bulbs (since the fronts aren't led)

if you have LED turn signals or marker lights in the front, I have found that it really throws stuff off. my turn signals were doing all kinds of crazy things when I installed from LED marker lights (I put '13 taillights on my '10).

Front turn signals look good. It blinks at normal speed when my original tail lights are in and the tails blink correctly in sequence. I was lucky enough that the guy who sold me the 2013 tail lights had an extra left side one so I swapped it out and its still doing the same thing. Could it be both lights are just bad, or is there something else because with the original 2011 tail lights on everything is fine and that 2013 passenger side one is fine. Would the ground from the light be where the problem is or where its screwed to the inside of the trunk?

Well heres the latest: I plugged the passenger side in the drivers side and it worked. Plugged both 2013 drivers side lights in the passenger side and both just blink rapidly. Im assuming this can only mean that the passenger tail I got is good and both drivers side tails I got are both defective. Even though all the LEDs light up bright and none appear out. Am I missing something? I know a couple of you had told about checking my grounds but I would assume that it would have to be a ground inside the tail light unit itself since the originals still work. Im definitely not a wiz at electronics. I put both original tails back in at the moment since they both work fine. What do u guys think?
