I have a vmp tune and a brenspeed tune. The first tune from vmp, the car wouldn't even start, he put something in wrong. the vmp tune never worked right. Just starting the car it stumbles upon start up. I even did some datalogs and got an updated tune. Brenspeeds tune works right out of the box, starts up just like stock. When I got the frpp throttle body from brenspeed, they sent me a new tune, because it didn't want to slow down when you let off the gas. I could tell the vmp tune made more power everywhere, but it was much more aggressive with the timing and the first tune had the knock sensors pulling timing. I wouldn't hesitate to get Justin to dyno tune my car, but for email tunes, brenspeed will get my money every time. Never used bama.

I am assuming that I am looking about $500-$600 for that to happen.
I wish I lived that close to them! I want to open a brenspeed here in Gainesville. I should see how much the franchise fee is first!

Since you already paid for the tunes, get in touch with them and get this fixed. Since it's done via email communication should be near instant and it shouldn't take any longer than a day or two for them to redo the tunes. Something isn't working right and I'd get on the phone and get it worked out.

I have tunes for life through Bama and each time I needed new tunes they responded near instantly and had me the new tune within a day, I can't really complain thus far.

AED is one of if not the best tuners going for the manual transmissions. You'll be blown away if you go with Shaun.

I was on Modded Mustangs.com...and there are some guys on there raving about Hypermotive Tuning. I can't find anyone outside of North Carolina on here that talks about them.

Anyone used them?

First I can say that the Brenspeed tune I’m currently running is flawless. I cannot say I’m a big fan of VMP email tune but like moosetang said I'm sure he would do a great job on a dyno. I know there are a lot of fans of VMP out there but I think everyone should be aware there not perfect. I was just looking for a tune that would get me at or a little over 600hp compared to the 570hp from the Brenspeed tune. I won’t go into a large amount of details but…
Received original tune on December 17, 2013... received my 5th or 6th (lost count) revised tune from VMP on April 5th, 2014. This revision is livable but let’s just say I don’t trust it enough to run it and have went back to the Brenspeed tune until I decide to get a smaller pulley at which time I’m having a local shop tune the car.
On various revisions I experienced (covering the high or should I say lowlights) early throttle cut off, car dying at idle (a lot), and on 2nd to last revision I took the Mustang in for my first every state inspection and failed due to the O2 sensors reading not ready. Seems even though VMP had all my information that version of the tune had the sensors turned off.
So a lot of work and frustration on my end, believe me no one was more baffled than me.
Just thought I’d put it out there since someone was asking.
