Default AMR Chrome Wheel

Hey guy,

After a lot of shopping around I think the AMR chrome wheel is the one I want. However, AM teased me as they have it listed on their site but don't actually sell it. (Ya, that makes sense).

http://www.americanmuscle.com/chrome-amr-18x9-0512.html

Does anyone know where else these are being sold, I am having trouble finding them?

Thanks.

LordRipberger,

The Chrome AMR's were discontinued a 6 or so months ago, unfortunately. There just didn't seem to be too many people interested in them. Since then, we did take the Chrome AMR's off of our site search and wheels category page. The link provided above is only accessible through a Google search.

The reason we keep the page in existence and not permanently deleted from the internet is because there's always a chance we may bring it back. The more feedback we hear about this wheel (like this thread!) the more likely that we give this wheel another shot.

I do want to apologize for the inconvenience of us not being able to provide you this wheel. If there's anything else I can assist you with, please let me know!

Shane

I like the chrome ones as well. However the more I look at the Silver AMR's the more I like those.

Chrome is too flashy IMO... Also more expensive!

I love chrome (especially on a white/black car), but somehow the herd mentality have decided chrome is bad, and black is good....so, now everyone is jumping on the bandwagon, and bashing chrome....one day, chrome will be good again!

That said, I like the polished look better myself.

Black wheels look like they aftermarket, whether you buy them as an option or not IMHO. However, it can make a car look aggressive if done right, like on a white or yellow car with a black stripe or something. Even still, they appear to be in racing mode at that point. Chrome is classy and really can really draw attention to the car. Its like a tie in the suit, it can make or break it the suit.

Has anyone bought wheels from the company called Drag? I found wheels that look like the ones from AM noted above and what to know about them.

Does anyone know where I can buy oem ford wheels (or ones that look like it) for much cheaper than what ford wants? They want 642 per wheel! That is just ridiculous. Are they gold at the core?

Here are the Ford Part numbers:
