Default never say never

i have own 2 different cars since having my license and both cars always had low profile tires on them. but before buying these tires i always ask the shop what are the cons of having a low profile tire and they always say that there is a good chance that if i hit a pot hole, it could bend my rims(one reason why i don't drive when it's raining) so i keep it in the back of my head that i will never run over a pot hole and i never did. at lease while not driving the shelby.

i decided to do some over time over the weekend and had to get up at 3am and be at work at 4am. i took the shelby to work which i never do, alway took the crv to work but knowing that it was going to be a beautiful saturday i decided maybe i'll go for a cruise after work. so driving on my usual route i notice something in my lane a piece of log or rock but i didn't mine, i was barely a wake and just wanted to get to work like i always do. so i decided to run over it. my car bounced and drop hard like never before and i just realize that i was driving the shelby and not the crv.....and the results are in

Yep, it sucks ..... seen a bunch like that .... or worse. Especially on an interstate with traffic aroud you, often hard to miss everything.

thanks for the support guys.
since my car was lowered the first thing i checked when i got to work was the front bumper i thought that i might have cracked the lower part of the bumper. i was relieve when i saw that the bumper was all ok and thought to my self whew! that scared me so i continue on to go to work, it wasn't until one of my co worker who parked next to me notice the rim and told me about it. i rush to the parking lot and saw the horror....my heart broke...put my head down and went back to work. never did focus on the job that day and never went cruising. went home and cried under my bed.

The rim repair guys can do a pretty good job these days. I bet you can have that rim as good as new for around $100.

That rim isn't just curbed - it's bent. On a performance car, I wouldn't trust it. My advice is to replace it.

Yeah man, you can find people selling wheels all day online. Typically not a set either so you should have good luck finding one wheel to buy, or if funds aren't an issue, grab a set and keep the others stored away in the event something happens to a wheel in the future.
