Default Window Louvers

Got a new '13 mustang, candy apple red, wanted to put some window louvers on the back seat windows (iffy about the back window)

Should I get them black, smoked, or color of the car?

And should I get them ridges or scooped?

Anything other than the cars color they look very tacky. Get the ones you like. I have had the scoop and the slotted louvers. Prefer the slotted ones myself.

I'm just getting ready to remove mine after several years because they have grown to look too "tacked on" in my eyes

but

If you get them, def have them painted body color.

It's depends on what you like, and what theme you're going with on your ride. The same color of the car always looks cleaner. I have the MMD style. I was iffy at first about them but then they started to grow on me and I love em. Bought a set on ebay. Painted! for $60 shipped so I couldn't pass it up. They have different styles of louvers so you're going to have to do some searching for which ones you like best.

I take it back -

If you get the louvers that are the exact same shape as the window, you can pull off gloss black

I put SHR louvers on my car a few weeks ago and love them. I actually found them pre-painted on ebay from a guy who chickened out on the install. It wasn't too hard but they do require removal of the quarter windows and trimming some interior parts.

I figured if I get black it would only look good on a flat color, but I saw some pics and it looked clean
