Default Painted Calipers

We got a break in the rain here in NY today, so I went ahead and painted my calipers. I raised Fluffy off the ground and put her up on some jackstands, of course as soon as I did this the wind picked up giving me something to be good and nervous about, yanked off the tires, cleaned the calipers, applied three coats of bright red nail-polish, waited a while and put her feet back on. It was a bit harder than I thought, lots of wierd nooks and crannies around the calipers to paint but I think I did a half-way decent job of it and with the wheels on it looks fine, which I guess is about all you can expect some red paint to do. Though I have read posts here claiming an additional 12-16 RWHP from the painted calipers, I got the purely cosmetic kit.

Here's some pics, I'll post one tomorrow with the wheels on when I can get a shot in the daylight.

Looks good. Any other red on the car other than the calipers?

AllFry...

Keep those pictures to remind you of what your car would look like if you left it parked on an open log downtown!

Calipers look good man!

Hopefully I will have my car back Wed., I am tweeking huge time, a full week without my car as of today. Two more to go. I can do it. I think I can, I think I can, I think I can.......
