Window Tint Scratches
Like many many people here, I have the infamous scratched window tint on the front 2 windows.
So if I buy moleskin, and install it, then remove the old tint, then lay down new tint....will this fix the problem?
Or will the tint just scratch again?
This is the product I am looking at:

I installed the moleskin gaskets from the 2008 into my 2005 and never had another scratch up until I traded her in. You should be good.

Installed the moleskin on my 05 two years ago. Had the tint redone, and have had no problems with scratching since.

I need to do moleskin myself. Had tint installed back in 2006 and the tint is still going strong minus the horrible scratches.

This was the first thing I fixed back in 2006 as preventive measure, thanks to the folks here who gave me a heads-up. No issues since.

That is correct...install the moleskin and you'll be good to go!

Another A+ vote for Tint Protector Felt.
BUT make sure it's the Tint Protector moleskin. There is cheap crap moleskin that is used for home windows. Moleskin is just a generic term.

I've got a 2014 with tinted windows; do I need to expect my tint to be scratched up? This is the first I've heard of this issue!
