So, when you take apart the shift boot on the mustang, there is a boot frame that holds the leather and fits into the rectangular opening.

Anyone know the part number for this plastic piece? or even better where i can the part?

Thanks!

So when you pull the shift boot away there is a rectangular frame. That is the part I need.

for an 07 mustang.

The site isn't clear if it comes with that retainer frame or not. if you go to this site during business hours they have live chat people with lots more resources that can help you find the part.

The retainer is part of the boot assy and is not available separately
