Default Interior Welt Trim - Satin/Matte Silver

Hey everyone, I am trying to find a satin/matte welt trim for my interior. I been searching and couldn't find anything, not sure if anyone else has that color, I am looking to welt trim to match silver/matte accent in the interior of the car like on the door handle and speaker cover in the picture

the picture has a welt trim called Silver Tinsel and it is from a place called Mr Mikes, I asked him for a sample and didn't match for what I was looking for, if anyone know where I can get the color I am looking for it will be appreciated

Yeah, that's going to be a tough color to find. I was going to recommend Mr Mikes since he was excellent when I ordered from him for my wife's Escape.

I had a hard time trying to find the color I wanted too. Ended up buying some then painting them the color I wanted. Turned out nice and has held up for many years now.

what type of paint did you use on the welt? I have a feeling that the look I am going for will required to be painted like you did, at least it would be an one off modification

Did it fix the leather peeling problem on yours? Mine is starting to come off and this looks like the perfect thing to fix it.

It was just a can of Krylon spray paint like you buy from Wal-Mart. I just used fine sand paper on it, wiped it down with alcohol, then painted it about 2 coats. It may have helped keep the leather from coming off. I haven't noticed mine sagging yet and mine stays outside.
Post pictures of your project if you decide to paint them.
