Default 2012 Brake performance packdge help

Hey guys been awhile since I posted but I need some help.. For a couple days now I noticed some squeaky noises coming from the brakes, I thought maybe brake dust so I let it be but what was really weird is when I go from reverse to 1st the brakes would fade then immediately come back mmmm but it was only that sequence. So today I decided to take the wheels off and come to find out the front brake pad completely came off the backing plate, actually there was only a half peice left which stills makes me wonder where it went lol the rotor is fine thank god. So my question is I dont know what brakes pads to get because I have the perfomance package and from what I'm aware of its the GT brake setup but I'm not sure, I also don't want to confuse the guy behind the counter and get the wrong crap. I would usually go OEM on this but I need this now. Any help on what to get? 3.7 brakes or GT? Also do the Pistons on the caliper need to turn in at the same time as pushing them down or no just push them in it's just the rears that does that..

Thanks fellas.

Get them for the Performance Package V6/GT and the front does not need to be turned in while collapsing, just the rear.
