I took advantage of Koni's "Spring Sale" misprint at A M $491.00 for yellows, J&M cc plates and BMR lca's.

I would say it depends on your budget, and what your plans are for the car. If you don't have plans to autocross it or run any HPDEs, or if your budget doesn't allow for a $2-4k setup, then you probably want to stick to lowering springs. (which can work VERY well, they just don't offer height adjustability)

Ive never had coilovers, but if i had to do suspension again im pretty sure i would use adjustable height coilovers.

If anything, a 2006 GT - now 9 model years old - needs new shocks and struts more than it needs new springs of any kind. It would be a convenience to do the springs at the same time.

thanks guys, sorry i havent replied. been busy at work.
thanks for all the imput. i defiantly agree with you norm. ill probably just go with springs. they offer tons of kits. so far i like the ford racing kit. comes with sway bars, end links. all that good ****, which only runs about 1400. a good set of coil overs cost about the same....
