Default Sliding around in my trunk.

I turn corners hard, I accelerate and decelerate fast (I think you can relate). The problem is, I keep some things in my trunk. Mostly flashlight, rope, drugs and corpses. Well not so much the last two.

How do I keep them from sliding around back there?
I hate it when I turn a corner (not even that fast) and I hear a thud against the trunk wall. [:@]

Tie the flashlight down with the rope.

get a gymbag for all your stuff, jumpercable flashlight, etc.. and put a toolbox drawer liner from sears on the bottom... thats what i did in my beater car to my beer cooler. if i went around a turn hard and that cooler hit the trunk wall, damn near spins the car out. that **** sucks, you can try it in your trunk, should work but the carpet might be different

umm...pull the stuff out of the bed?

Or get a gym bag as someone suggested and use a tie down rope to keep it in place.

I left my stock exhaust in my trunk for a few days and ended up with a nice dent in my rear 1/4 panel.

Currently I am suspending a milk crate with a complex system of buggies attached to the roof of my trunk. that's the only place I could find any place to anchor these damn buggies. It's such a hassle to get anything in our out of that milk crate.

Twister, you got a good point w/that carpet stuff, When I get to sears I'll give that a try.

I guess what I'm looking for is the floor of a C-130. It has Anchor points EVERYWHERE!!!

Try a cargo net from Ford:

Or, use some type of Rubbermaid container with lid, and put some Velco tape (only need the HOOK side) on the bottom of it, sticks to carpet well, but you can pull it out pretty easily. Did this in my Excursion for a long time, worked well.

Well, I have so many tools and tool boxes in the trunk that there is no room left for them to slide around. Just pack your trunk completely full so that way if you need to get to the spare it will take you a half hour to dig down to it. Hmm.. I guess I better clean it out. I bet I have 200 lbs of stuff back there. I blame it on my Nova. [&:]
