Question Wiring reverse camera power to the reverse light

Hello Everyone

I purchased a reverse camera from ebay for $15. I will be drilling the hole above the license plate to make it larger to fit the wires through tomorrow. I was following a video on youtube on the best place to install the camera but I am stuck with powering the camera.

I was wondering if anyone else knows which wire would be the positive/negative on the wiring harness from the back of the taillights? I have a 2014 mustang V6 base model if it helps, thanks!

*I tried to search the forum but could not find any information to help me on this!

Hey guys no need to help me anymore I got it working on my own but in case anyone else needs help here are the completed pics. The reverse wire is the BLUE wire from the wiring harness from behind the taillights for the 2014 (not sure if its different for the others). I didn't have to ground the power wire as it worked just with the positive wire from the power cable.

Thanks for sharing...I'm in the process of installing a camera on mine now. Just curious, are those tie-wraps in the second photo holding the camera in place??

Yes I used zip ties to hold it in place for now but I will use two small screws later on and position it properly as I can't clip in the middle clip. I also just stuck a rag inside the whole where I drilled for now but I will cover it up properly with silicone. I hope no water gets into the trunk from that lol!

That picture looks quite good. I bought one of those eBay setups, just need to install it. Guess its time to do it.
