So i just got the 2013 mustang with steering wheel controls and The arrow keys on the wheel have not been working correctly for my info system. to be specific
left arrow is selecting most of the time instead of going back
up arrow has been selecting instead of moving up
right arrow works fine
down arrow is going down fine
and ok is working

Any one have any solutions to this or know what is going on. I have searched everywhere

Sounds like you have some wires crossed over. Check them to make sure everything is connected as it should be.

Hello Dem Stangs,

Welcome to the forum! My name is Deysha with Ford Service, and I recommend you bring it in to your Ford Dealer and get it checked out first. Make sure you speak with your service manager if needed. He is in the best position to ensure a proper diagnosis, and will be able to provide available options and/or coverage for any work needed.

You can schedule an appointment online here. Let me know the outcome.

Deysha

Your post was confusion - did you replace the stock steering wheel or did the controls come on it from the factory?

Don't let a dealer scam you. Go somewhere else that will have more reasonable rates.

Factory controls on stock steering wheel weren't working. Normally i would never go to a dealer I do a lot of work myself or I go to my mechanic who I really trust. It was something even he said to let them handle and I couldn't find anything about either.
