I have the SLP Loudmouths and love them, but wanted just a little more. So today I got the Pypes O/R H pipe installed. It's really freaking loud and trumpets like crazy. I really want to keep the H pipe but I'm wondering what axle-back muffler would give me a nice deep tone, yet won't make people crap their pants when I drive by.

 

Borla S-Type is tame enough for a daily driver, but also screams when you step on it. I personally have the Borla Atak and love them, but I'm betting they are a little too loud for your taste.

Borla s types with that offroad H is the bomb. Deep throaty...nothing compares.

 

I'd suggest the 401423 axleback.

 

Would simply adding resonators like the M80's make a difference? If not, I'll go with the borlas.

 

Yes mid mounting some resonators will cure the trumpeting and deepen the tone. I have that setup. It really cleans up the tone.

 

Is there a good place to find used exhausts? It'd be nice to save a little money and buy used borlas..

 

Nevermind I just purchased new ones. Can't wait to hear them!
