Default Multi-System Additive Poll

Hi everyone,

We are just looking for a little insight as to how you use multi-system additives (if you do). Multi-system additives qualify as a product that can be used in gas, diesel, or oil. Examples of those additives include: Seafoam, Gumout Multi-System Tune-Up, STP Multipurpose Motor Treatment, Berrymans B-12, etc.

Please select multiple options if you use the additives for multiple purposes.

Once you respond, please feel free to PM us and we will get some 303Ž Products and STA-BILŽ Products out to you.

Have a great weekend!

The ONLY product that goes in my fuel tank, besides gasoline is Chevron Techron.

Unfortunately, I think you're going to have a tough sell here for multi-system additives. So many have had bad experiences with them in the past with various brands, and threads seem pop up every now and again with people talking about problems apparently caused by additives (not including the "NOS" branded energy drink someone poured in to their gas tank, but that is another story).

I've used your product in the past to stabilize the fuel in my classic cars, and it seems to work. On my daily driver (see signature photo), I would not be inclined to use an additive... however, if I WERE to consider one, I would consider anything that counteracts Ethanol (10% in California).

Thank you everyone for the feedback. We are not necessarily coming out with a Multi-System Additive but were more curious as to how people use them since they claim they can be used in various fuels.

STA-BILŽ comes with more OEM endorsements than any other fuel additive on the market so we can assure you that the product does exactly what the label claims it does. There are certainly other good additives on the market like Chevron Techron. We just always recommend some research before using any additive to make sure their claims aren't too far reaching.

We are happy to help with any fuel related questions you may have.

Have a great day!

I've used Berrymans in gas and oil before, but that was on 1960's motors. Have used Seafoam to clean out some gas stuff, but never in oil. Personally I don't trust something with todays engines that says it works in gas and diesel seeing how the technology and compression is so different between the two.

And putting any type of solvent into a modern oil system just seems foolish.

I use Royal Purple oil and filter, and don't see any reason to use an oil additive for my car.

I use Chevron gasoline, which contains Techron, so I'm not concerned about anything in the gasoline department except for water in the tank. I use Iso-HEET once in a while to take care of any issue that water may cause. I realize that Iso-HEET also cleans injectors, but that is not why I use it.
