Default TPMS fault issue

Seems most people have issues with syncing. This is not that common. A slightly different issue I think.

Details:
1. To replace my stock 18"s, I purchased staggered wheels, tires, and TPMS sensors (w/ programmer) separately so AM or LMR didn't install them together and ship them to me.
2. Had NTB install and mount the tires to my '08 GT.
3. They did not sync the sensors to the car.
4. My aftermarket stereo did not function/power on when I left the shop.
5. When I got home...
a. I reset the battery connection, which resolved the stereo issue.
b. I synced the sensors to the car successfully.
6. 1 week later, my car got side swiped and minor cosmetic damage was done to one wheel. I replaced the wheel.
7. I took my car to a body shop that installed the new wheel with the existing tire and sensor. I synced it up when I got home.
8. About a month later after no issues, the TPMS Monitor Fault message came back while driving down the road.
9. I took it to NTB. Unfortunately they had a 3 hour wait so the employee there suggested if I didn't want to wait, I should go to the dealership and talk to the service manager and see if something on the car needs to be reprogrammed (different from re-syncing the . NTB mentioned that the difference between the dealership and NTB is that NTB would reprogram the 4 sensors using a "computer" (not the same as syncing the sensors to the car), vs the dealership, which should be able to reprogram one device on the car.

I haven't contacted the dealership yet, but I was wondering what you others thought, specifically, those of you that have experienced this issue, or may work at a dealership or tire shop. Any suggestions?

the process to sync the sensors is simple and is performed with a hand tool that wakes each sensor up after the car has been put in program mode. since all of your sensor were already programmed to the car, if the fault message came on, you have 1 or more bad sensors, or a TPMS module concern. get it diagnosed.

Yeah. I'm going to try to have it looked at this week. I need to find the time.
