Default NEW CLUTCH INSTALL!!!

Okay everyone I pray someone can help and soon!!! I replaced my stock clutch in my 2014 mustang gt with an exody stage 3. We put everything back together and now it's idling terrible and smells very rich, if I press the gas pedal even a little it dies completely. Please help!!

The problem is not related to your clutch, but you might have left off a cable or broken a wire.
You should have a error code, I'd start with a visual inspection for unplugged wires and engine codes.

So we tried that and got back a bunch of error codes. I think the pcm got fried somehow

It's pretty hard to fry a PCM, they are usually tested to 6KV per pin. It's far more likely that you have a wire disconnected or broke one, or left a ground strap off the engine. Make sure none of the wires are stuck between the bell housing and the engine. Did you have trouble disconnecting any of the connectors?

Are you sure you reconnected the oxygen sensors when you replaced the clutch?

Have you done the crank relearn process? That can cause issues. Anytime you separate the engine and transmission, like a clutch installation, you need to do that procedure.

I replaced my clutch and didn't have to do it. Are you sure it applies to all models? Mine's an '07 GT. Just out of curiosity, how do you do the procedure?

It applies to 2011+ models, so your 2007 isn't affected by it.

The procedure can be done with the SCT X4, otherwise you have to go to the dealer and have them do it with the Ford IDS (cost me $100)

Yeah, I was thinking it could either be that or one of the O2 sensor wiring harnesses got pinched by the tranny when it was reinstalled.
Shouldn't take long to figure out once you raise the car on a lift.

Actuallly, change the O2 sensors even if they are not throwing a code. They are cheap and when I replaced mine the car ran much better even though the original ones weren't throwing a code. Remember the 02 sensors are what tell the pcm how the mixture is, if they are reading wrong the car might have gone into limp home mode.
