I have a 2011 3.7l convert. The conv. top recently starting acting up. When putting the top down it was hesitant, slow to engage and stopping. When you push the switch to raise the top it works fine. Welcome any thoughts or ideas! Thanks.

 

Or take it to the dealer, for that matter.

Check the convertibletop well for any objects in it. Sometimes there is a top down confirmation switch that isn't being allowed to work because of that. Intermittent operation results from that object shifting around back there.

In my case it was a black leather glove that got blown back in there from the slipstream. It was very hard to see. Also check the framewells for any foreign objects.
