Daily driver
I have a 2006 mustang gt with 87k miles. I try to keep the miles off of it as much as I can so I have a 1995 subaru impreza with 280k miles I drive to work every day. Do any of you guys drive your mustangs every day?
Daily driver for me -- when I sold my 2006 in June 2012 it had 203,000 miles on it. Ordered my 2013 and sold it in 2016 with over 50,000 miles on it. The 2017 already has over 60,000 on it (trips between Michigan and North Carolina for almost 2 years will rack up a lot of miles).
The car is meant to be driven. Why let it sit in a garage?

Ordered and picked up my 2011 in November 2010 with 26 miles on it. Now I have 213,000+ on it. Daily driver and still as fun to drive and tight as day #1. I'm on my 4th set of tires and beyond the normal maintenance of oil & filter, brakes, and proper fluid changes, the car has been the most reliable car I've had. And I've owned Toyota's and Nissans.
I daily drive my Mustang, even in winter. I have a separate set of wheels with winter tires. My Firebird (which I still have) was my daily for years before buying my Mustang. I drove it in winter as well with separate wheels and winter tires.
Gas in Cyprus is $5.20 per gallon (cheap by European standards) so it isn't cost effective for me to use the Mustang as a daily driver in heavy traffic where it gets 16mpg as opposed to 30mpg in the Merc 250D. I use the Mustang mostly on highway trips where I can get 26mpg and there's a lot less wear and tear on the car.
I'm tempted to get the new Turbo-4 Mustang; I've driven some as rentals and like them. That way you can have a fun car and still get decent fuel economy.
