Default Smart junction box

I need a new SJB for my 05 4.0 5spd. OE # 4R3T-14B476-BS . I am and have been an "essential employee" so no "extra spending $$" I will pay a fair price though.

can you not take yours apart and clean the corrosion out? there are several how-to vids out there. don't think it is too hard. its held on by 1 10mm bolt. be sure to undo the neg. battery cable before you go messing with it tho. everything into it is hot even with car off (which is why so many lights stay on when car is off). clean the connectors as well. as far as where to pick one up... LKQ.com, maybe co-part? if you do end up getting a new one, you will have to take it to Ford to get the PATS and other things to work. good luck

Default Resolved?????

I had taken it apart once before about a year or so ago. Everything hunky dory. Then the blasted thing gave me issues again. So I took it back out and opened it up, cleaned it, put new dielectric grease on all connections. Then it occurred to me why not put in a new accessory relay while I'm in here. So far it's acting normal again.........thanks bl817 for bringing me to my senses.
