Default Interior Gauge Cluster...

Hey guys! I'm in the UK and looking at the US dash pictures of the 05 GT Convertible, you seem to have 6 gauges?? i.e. an extra oil gauge and voltage gauge?! I dont have it on mine?! Was this an option? Or will that type of gauge fit on mine? what modifications will it need to get the readings??

Many thanks

s88hon - You don't have the interior upgrade package. This package includes an oil gauge and a volt meter amongst other things like the aluminum trim on the dash, alminum scuff plates, "My Color" adjustable instrument panel lighting, aluminum trim on the steering wheel spokes, and alumnum trimmed gear shift ****, ect. However the factory oil gauge is usless anyway as all it does is indicate the existence of "some" oil pressure. It does not indicate the actual oil pressure. I installed a pillar mount gauge pod and aftermarket gauges so I would have accurate monitoring of my engine functions.

Sounds like they cut some corners not including those gauges as a standard and then give ya crappy ones with the IUP package???

Use the search. Plenty of threads on almost every board about installing the IUP clusters in to the non IUP cars.

AH man! that is excellent!!!! thanks for your help However.. Do you reckon Ford in the US can sell me the cluster on its own? I'm based in the UK and I can fedex my old cluster to them for them to change...

Anybody know any friendly Ford dealers in the US???
