Default Dusted a DB9

Had a bit of a "Race" tonight with an Aston Martin DB9...... The only reason I may have beat the DB9 to the next freeway interchange was becasue it was a woman driving it . I was TOTALLY IMPRESSED to see a lady driving such a hot ride!

How would an '05 GT REALLY stack up to the DB9 ? I recon it would dust those of us in our GT's...

Any comments?

I have yet to get a good feel for what rides we can stack upto i.e. vertain beemers, infinity's etc

Cheers!

Man, I do love those Aston Martins. They are truly choice.

I agree, that is suuuuch a sweet car.
Here are the specs:
0-60 in 4.8
1/4 mile in 13.20

I was surprised that a V-12 would only get to the low 13's.
With a few mods to a Mustang GT, it would be a good race!

A DB9 is pushing, if not over, 4,000 pounds. And the HP is only in the 400s, IIRC.

GT Premiums weigh in at ~3550. GT Deluxes are a bit less.

I know it is another dumb question, but please excuse me on this...But what accounts for the weight differential?

Thanks!

The only thing that I can think of in the weight is leather is heavier. We didn't have to spend 160K on the car though.
