Default Louvers HUGE QUESTION

I have a black 05 Mustang GT I was looking at Louvers and the Roush louvers were the only good looking ones I would buy. First question I heard the mirrors are all you need to see to turn and the louvers wont affect vision. Second do you think they are a smart add on to your car and make it look better? All your info would be great oh yeah and also are they easy to put on?

If you want to see how they will look on your car, go to www.ponybuilder.com and you can see how it will look with and without louvers and from different companies. The only thing is you can't change the colors of the louvers, they color key them to match the car. I would paint them black to match the car. I am going to be putting them on my car except they will be from Street Scene with their Generation II louvers. They have real vents that you can see through and they almost look like the Roush ones.

I have 3d Carbon louvers and have no problems with blind spots. Side and rear-view mirrors provide more than adequate vision.

I really like your rear louvers. Were they difficult to install? What do you guys think about having rear louvers like that painted to match the body color? Or do you think they'd be better left black?

IMO I like the xenon. I have them and saw a black stang with them on and it looked sharp! They are the full ones.

The rear louvers were pretty easy to install. You can paint them. I expect on certain cars they would look better painted. I like the black on mine. The baby blue needs a little contrast to make it look tough. Besides, in black they look more "Mach 1" retro. The side louvers Have to be painted.

I got both the MRT rear louvers and the CDC quarter louvers and they are nice together. The MRT's come powder coated black aluminum and can be painted. The downside is that they are $400 and the shipping for the one piece type is $90. The CDC's can be painted by CDC for a little more or you can order them raw and have someone do it for you. They run around $200 a pair. Here are some links.

FYI The quarter louvers on the MRT site are CDC's.
