Morning 09.00 am
it was cold zero (celsius)degrees out and when i had started the car on the screen they are appeared the words
'FAILSAFE ENGINE MODE' but any strange sounds i have feel.
I have turn off the key and i started again....than any words again
what's happened ??

It sounds like a problem that others are starting to see. It may be the Throttle Position Sensor that is causing your problems. I don't think there is a TSB on this yet but this and it seems to be more and more evident.

Let us know what it is and how many miles are on the car. If you know the build date, post that. There may be a batch of bad TPS's out there.

 

I believe there *is* a TSB for this - they reflash the pcm and replace the TPS.

Go to www.blueovalforums.com, go to the employee section and look for the 06 Mustang Build thread. Post your VIN and ask for a build sheet and order dates. You will need to register on the site. The TPS is the throttle position sensor.

 

Is the build date on the car somewhere as well? I have been looking for it but haven't found it yet. I know my '03 had it on one of the door sill stickers.
