Default magnaflow exhaust

Looking for a better sound, I just put on the stainless magnaflow catbacks last week. The sound is not much different from stock GT. Anyone know if adding an Xpipe with the aftermarket cats will improve the rumble?

Yes it will help. My father's 05 has the magnaflow cat-back with an x-pipe and sounds very mean. I am thinking this may be what I do. That or flowmasters instead of mags.

I am not sure how they compare to the magnaflows but i have the flowmasters currently. They too are a little better then stock but just enough to make me happy.

i think you shoudl go with an H-pipe and flows... Flowmaster is known for that "american" rumble, and the H-pipe lets the sound resonate a bit more and make it sound deeper and meaner

Do you know if he has the cats in the Xpipe? I want to stay legal if I can... i appreciate the flowmaster suggestion, but I'm in over $500 for the stainless magnaflows already!!
