Thanks gang.

Actually, I just picked up the car last night so it was too dark for pics but I took a few this morning and should have them developed tonight.

A guy had ordered this car back in July and got tired of waiting for so he bought another one. The salesman called me when it came in and asked if I wanted it so I said "HELL YEAH!!!!!" and bought it right off the truck.

It cost me a bit of money to get out of my '03 GT, so I probably won't be doing any mods until spring, but yeah, CAI, tune and exhaust are first on the list.

I seriously can not believe how much better this car feels than my '03 GT. It is like a night and day difference between them (feel free to say "I told ya so") LOL.

The balance is amazing and the powerband is soooooo smooth.

My only complaint is the shifter. It feels all loose and rubbery compared to the steeda Tri ax I had in the old car. Missed third a couple of times last night [&o]

It kinda pissed me off when I pulled into work this morning and nobody really noticed I had a new car [:@]

My old one was black on black as well.
Will post pics ASAP.

Thanks

Welcome to the club, Mike! As great as the car is stock, you will really dig it when ya start addin' the mods. That CAI and tune will make a noticeable difference at all speeds. As you well know, the shifters in these things are feces. The Tri Ax feels real good once you put a bunch of miles on it, but the trannys are rather clunky, tho. Also, I highly recommend the underdrive pullys and the almost mandatory sequential taillight kit. The new mufflers wont really add power, so get a set that sounds good to ya. And beware of the "drone" problem some of 'em have. And this thing has so many neat features, I bet a month from now you will still be discovering new things. So try to ignore the payments and enjoy! {Watch where you park it!}

Congrats Mike! Now you really understand why we all have fallen in love with our new Mustangs! I keep telling everyone that this is the first car I've ever driven in 35 years that is actually fun to drive!

That's exactly how I feel...except it's only been 20 years LOL.

I can't believe I have turned into such a fanboy []

I came out of a loaded '03 GT and believe me when I tell you that this is not even the same car at all.

I have a theory that since Ford owns the ponycar market again, they can do whatever they want without worrying about competing with F-bodies. This is the first model that hasn't had to compete with the f bods on price or power. Seems like they might have fixed alot of the shortcuts they took on my old car where they had to keep the price down.

Anyway. I am having a blast
